I acknowledge that volunteering with Pinhoti Animal Rescue involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, animal bites or scratches, zoonotic diseases exposure, property damage, and injuries that may ocur during animal handling, transport, events or other rescue related activities.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation. I understand that I am volunteering at my own risk and that Pinhoti Animal Rescue, its officers, directors, board members, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to person or property arising from my volunteer activities.
I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Pinhoti Animal Rescue and its representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action related to my volunteer service.
I understand that I am not an employee and will not receive any compensation, insurance coverage, or workers' compensation benefits. I am responsible for my own medical insurance coverage.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Pinhoti Animal Rescue to obtain medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so.
I certify that I am physically capable of performing volunteer duties and agree to follow all rescue policies and safety procedures.
